How to trash the “Hello World” Post

  • Log into your Word Press Dashboard,
  • Click on “Posts” in the upper right corner.
  • Scroll down to “Edit” (it most likely is already selected by default).
  • In the panel on the left, you will find the ‘Hello World’ post
  • Place your cursor under the title of the post and a number of options will appear.
  • Click on “Trash” and the post will disappear.
  • View your site and refresh your screen to see the post has disappeared.
