How to Make Anchor Text Links

Anchor text links are a very effect form of backlinks.  When you have the opportunity to place a link to your site into any type of copy, it is far more powerful to turn a keyword into a link rather than just placing a website address.

Anchor text links are made with a small piece of HTML code.  Some sites will allow you to make the code automatically with a link tool that is located in the tool bar of a text box.  However that is not always available.  You can easily create the anchor text link yourself by placing this simple code into your copy.

Replace the “YourSite.com” with your own site.  Replace the “Place Anchor Text Here” with your own keyword phrase.

You have have a better backlink if you use the URL from a page on your site other than the main domain.
